Red Hat's Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Manager to join us in Munich, Germany or Farnborough, U.K. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing programs, campaigns, and events focused on Red Hat's diverse and growing community of alliance partners. You’ll serve as the primary marketing contact between the country marketing associates, global marketing group, EMEA sales teams, business development managers, and partner marketing counterparts. As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing compelling go-to-market strategies to expand the ecosystem footprint and to grow the customer base for Red Hat’s complete solutions portfolio.
Primary job responsibilities
Develop and carry out integrated marketing programs to create awareness of Red Hat’s solutions in collaboration with the alliance partners’ marketing counterparts to promote business
Understand overall corporate and EMEA sales strategy, initiatives, offerings, and programs and use available resources in planning and implementation
Support regional marketing teams with alliance partner marketing programs and lead generation campaigns
Manage and support events with alliance partners and ensure follow-up with lead management and analysis
Work closely with global partner marketing associates on strategy and content
Serve as the marketing representative in the development of partner business plans; define the strategic marketing plan and manage the delivery and implementation of key marketing deliverables
Identify and direct goals, performance standards, metrics, ROIs, and budgets for partner marketing plans
Regularly meet with partners and partner management teams to understand impact on current business and market trends and to ensure that programs meet their needs
8+ years of successful direct and indirect marketing experience in the IT sector
Experience working with alliance partners to develop and carry out joint marketing plans
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple projects and work as part of a dynamic team while demonstrating flexibility, ability to work on your own, and a desire to make things happen
Creative problem-solver, resourceful in meeting channel marketing program goals
Exceptional communication and follow-up skills
Fluent written and verbal language skills in English; additional European languages are a plus
Proven program implementation and measurement skills
Willingness to travel up to 30%
