The Red Hat Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Partner Engagement team is looking for a Partner Inside Sales Representative to join us in Farnborough, U.K. In this role, you will serve at a partner helpdesk, being the prime Red Hat contact for low or non-touch partners. You’ll also proactively manage assigned advanced partners in close collaboration with the local partner sales teams in the assigned countries. You'll report into the Manager of the EMEA Partner Engagement team. As a Partner Inside Sales Representative, you will play an essential part in the daily operations of our partner programs and the continued nurturing and development of partnerships from the inside. The assigned territory for this position will be in France, so you'll need to have a solid command of French as well as English.
Primary job responsibilities
Develop and nurture the business and relationships with a set of advanced business partners (ABPs)
Team up with local distributors to help guide business activity within these partner organizations
Strive to achieve the ideal skills profile per target partner
Encourage partners to create repeatable solutions based on Red Hat's technologies
Guide deal registration performance
Manage sales challenges for low-touch ABPs
Widen the network of contacts within assigned partner organizations
Serve as the main point of contact for partners, supporting all incoming requests from partners, and as an expert on programs and related processes
Build and nurture partner relationships; follow up on new partner leads
Arrange phone and video meetings and conduct program training with partners
Be responsible for partner renewals, upgrades, and downgrades for ready, advanced, and premier partners
Maintain partner retention based on quarterly targets
Support the deal registration program, including regular maintenance of leads and opportunities to achieve quarterly targets
Collaborate closely with the program administration team in Pune, India
Fluent written and verbal language skills in English and French
Eloquent in spoken interactions with an ability to lead conversations
Natural communicator with solid interpersonal skills
Keen to learn new things every day
Organized and motivated; focused on achieving targets
Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment and as part of a team
Deep interest in making both business partners and colleagues successful
Good knowledge of Salesforce.com (SFDC) case handling, account management, and opportunities is a plus
Prior experience working in sales or with business partners is a plus
