Red Hat Survey Data Analyst in Pune, India

The Red Hat Portfolio Product Marketing team is looking for a Survey Data Analyst to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will focus primarily on analyzing data gathered from programmatic and ad hoc customer and market research projects around Red Hat’s offerings, technologies, customers, and markets. You’ll serve as an expert at preparing data for analysis, applying statistical tests to analyze survey data, and developing tables, charts, and graphs depicting the results. As a Survey Data Analyst, you will work in a collaborative, team-oriented, fast-paced environment, partnering with the Portfolio Analytics and Research and Customer References teams to deliver customer and market insights to help optimize targeting, positioning, and messaging of Red Hat’s portfolio stories. You’ll need to be able to work quickly and efficiently and to have a sharp eye for data and design while adhering to established design and brand standards.
Primary job responsibilities
Conduct analysis on survey data using descriptive and inferential tests (e.g., t-tests, chi square, regression, odds ratio, pearson, ANOVA, or conjoint analysis)
Conduct analysis on in-depth interview data using qualitative analysis software
Perform other ad hoc data analyses
Design and develop slide deck reports of survey and in-depth interview findings
Develop and manage a recurring communication, highlighting key findings from recent research
Support other survey research activities including questionnaire and sampling design
Develop and report on segments in Oracle Eloqua and Salesforce.com (SFDC) of Red Hat’s contacts based on custom requirements to be used for research panels
Help maintain and catalog the Products and Technologies (PnT) Market Research Library
Bachelor's degree in an analytical field like math, computer science, or engineering; equivalent experience will also be considered
5 years of relevant working experience in marketing data
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Spreadsheet skills with proven experience managing and summarizing data sets
Experienced user of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Ability to organize and prioritize different tasks and deadlines to achieve goals and expectations
The following are considered a plus:
Familiarity with Qualtrics, Tableau, SFDC customer relationship management (CRM), and Oracle Eloqua
Familiarity with analyzing survey data
Experience with B2B software markets
