Help us make Red Hat’s solutions both practical and workable for our large enterprise customers. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Senior Presales Solutions Architect to join us in Puteaux, France. In this role, you will gain deep understanding of customer business and IT environments and collaborate with sales executives and customer technical decision boards to assess the potential application of Red Hat’s solutions. You’ll help customers invest wisely in an infrastructure that will give them maximum flexibility in the future, allowing them to run faster and more efficiently. You’ll need to have a balance of serious technical expertise, passion for open source, and of deep understanding of business processes and how to identify and solve issues at the enterprise level. As a Senior Presales Solutions Architect, you'll also need to have great communication and people skills because you will present features and benefits of our offerings to technical audiences, as well as solutions to C-level executives.
Primary job responsibilities
Support the account teams in establishing and managing customer relationships
Design solutions based on customer requirements and create and deliver solid business cases from these requirements
Support the Sales team in the delivery and implementation of Red Hat’s solutions and offerings
Maintain understanding of complex middleware and infrastructure solutions, design value-driven architectures, and present the application and ROI of our technologies
Deliver compelling recommendations and quality solutions that result in the closing of new sales
Use your technical skills and your understanding of industry best practices to deliver timely results to customers that exceed their expectations
Represent Red Hat at industry and technical events and fairs
Collaborate with other Red Hat’s solutions architects and Engineering team associates working in the same business vertical or for the same global customer
Share knowledge and findings to allow team members to learn from your successes and mistakes
Own whitepapers, analyst relationships, blogs, etc.
Extensive experience and demonstrated success in a technical presales or architect role supporting senior sales executives
Excellent presentation and documentation skills
Great communication and technical skills to develop relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout organizations
Extensive experience designing and architecting enterprise solutions based on industry-accepted methodologies
Experience with at least one business vertical like finance, manufacturing, etc.
Motivated to learn and create new things
Good written and verbal communication skills
Fluent language skills in English and French
