The Red Hat Talent Management Center of Excellence team is looking for a Diversity and Inclusion Program Manager to join us at our headquarters in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert and internal consultant by sharing knowledge of human capital, talent management, career development, workforce planning, and organizational development for talent-related diversity and inclusion business planning processes. You will guide the cross-functional efforts in support of strategic planning processes by benchmarking key measures against external industry, region, and best-in-class peers and applying knowledge of data analysis techniques to interpret workforce data. Additionally, you will be expected to provide meaningful insights to make important talent and workforce strategy decisions while connecting key themes and outcomes to long-term People (HR) team strategy efforts.
Primary job responsibilities
Develop practical program implementation plans that consider cultural and HR team needs
Use deep subject matter and functional expertise and persuasive and process skills to help business customers understand cultural, regional, and diversity implications; manage risks and compliances
Develop optimal solutions with the use of analytical thinking and sound research methodologies and by applying your industry and functional knowledge
Serve as a knowledgeable communicator playing a key role in the communication with all stakeholders within the HR team and with our business customers
Share information within a matrix environment and provide ongoing and transparent feedback
7+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in workforce management, strategy, or planning
Expertise in designing innovative approaches, developing a set of priorities, and delivering on plans
Ability to tackle ambiguity in the workplace and apply problem-solving skills
Ability to learn, apply, and communicate inclusive business concepts to a variety of audiences
Balance of influential communication skills with solid analytical capabilities and a metrics-focused mindset
Demonstrated collaborative and persuasive skills
Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree is a plus
Ability to work daily in the Raleigh, NC office
