Job summary

The Red Hat Sales Enablement and Development (SE+D) team is looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will collaborate and partner with multiple internal stakeholders to plan for and write engaging sales enablement messaging content. The content you create should be visually appealing and clearly communicate key programs and initiatives that support the strategic goals and direction of sales enablement. You'll use communication assets and resources (intranet, email, digital media screens, etc.) to make enablement resources available to help solve business problems, simplify and tell complex stories, and ultimately support our sales team in selling more offerings and services. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment on different projects, including web graphics, presentations, videos, internal promotional marketing material, and event collateral.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Connect with content contributors across Red Hat to create consistent experiences for existing and prospective customers

  • Create and design on-brand, on-message media that reinforce our SE+D brand

  • Measure and document the effectiveness of SE+D communications using consumption and performance metrics

  • Conduct content audits and A/B testing and create content optimization plans with stakeholders and cross-functional scrum teams

  • Collaborate with data analysts and on-site intranet tools and technology experts and with user experience (UX) teams to identify clear goals for sales enablement content

  • Consult with the stakeholders and content team associates to monitor content consumption and performance and suggest improvements

  • Apply your unique skills and insights to passion projects that can make sales enablement better

  • Participate in regular meetings and provide periodic communications back to various team members in order to ensure that the marketing activities both guide and support the sales efforts of the various groups (and Harris Healthcare overall)

  • Develop marketing material strategies to effectively guide sales for our vertical markets

  • Manage enablement resources and kits and inventory of collateral, including timely shipments and distribution of collateral to global offices and events as necessary

Required skills

  • 4+ years of relevant experience as a website writer or a communications strategist

  • Passion for website content and a high regard for exceptional user experience

  • Great attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects

  • Ability to understand and simplify complex information

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Docs, and Sheets, Eloqua, Marketo, Salesforce.com (SFDC) Allego, Bananatag, or similar systems and tools

  • Ability to work with others in a highly collaborative work environment

  • Ability to cope with multiple deadlines, manage time effectively, establish priorities, and communicate expectations to stakeholders

  • Effective and persuasive communication skills

  • Solid typography skills with a sense of composition, scale, pacing, and color

  • Experience articulating and explaining design decisions and pitching ideas

  • Ability to think creatively, act on your own, learn quickly, be flexible, and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, cross-functional, collaborative environment with multiple projects and priorities

  • Knowledge of or interest in Red Hat, open source, and the technology industry

  • Global experience gained outside of North America (NA) and multilingualism are a plus
