The Red Hat Portfolio Marketing team is looking for a Portfolio Field Readiness Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will support the implementation of Red Hat's portfolio strategies through close working relationships with portfolio and product teams, as well as our sales leadership across the globe. You will be at the forefront of our offerings and solutions strategies, collaborating to build enablement plans and shape global enablement strategies. As you will need to work with multiple perspectives and sometimes conflicting goals, coalescing those into a detailed plan that bridges numerous stakeholder needs, you’ll need to have an ability to be a good partner to multiple stakeholders. Your stakeholders will include product marketing, product management, field, and enablement teams, particularly the Global Partner and Technical Enablement, and Sales Enablement and Development teams. As a Portfolio Field Readiness Manager, you’ll need to carry out tasks thoughtfully, quickly, and with results in mind. It is crucial that you have the ability to work on and prioritize multiple critical projects. You must be open, collaborative, and inquisitive, with an understanding of and empathy for the pressures that product marketers and different sales roles face.
Primary job responsibilities
Develop enablement plans that reflect sales needs and desired outcomes from business, product, and technology teams
Serve as a mediator between the product marketing and field teams
Maintain regular cadence with field leadership and field groups
Schedule and coordinate enablement activities
Work with the Global Sales Enablement and Development, as well as Global Partner and Technical Enablement teams to develop field and partner communication plans and sales enablement strategies
Facilitate an ongoing sales education delivered directly by Sales Enablement and Development, as well as Global Partner and Technical Enablement teams, other internal corporate resources, and selected outside experts
Keep and establish metrics and objectives for sales enablement
Make recommendations for improving enablement and sales uptake of materials
Carry out plans and support other teams as needed
Exceptional organizational skills
Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
Outstanding presentation skills
4+ years of sales, sales operations, or sales enablement experience or experience working with sales in a product marketing or corporate marketing role
5+ years of experience within the technology industry
Experience with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products is a plus
Flexible with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to take high-level sales strategies and develop structured plans, actions, and initiatives
Ability to handle multiple priorities to manage disparate enablement initiatives
Ability to build consensus and agreement across multiple groups
