Job summary

The Red Hat Total Rewards and Analytics team, part of Red Hat’s People (HR) team, is looking for a Program Coordinator to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will help manage the team’s programs and initiatives by coordinating, scheduling, and managing program and project-related meetings and events. You’ll also serve as a key member of other global program and project teams. Your ongoing responsibilities will include project management, meeting facilitation (including agenda management and action tracking, project tracking, and action planning), meeting scheduling, and other projects as assigned. As a Program Coordinator, you will interact with and support a variety of internal teams within the Total Rewards and Analytics function. You'll need to be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You’ll get an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the global rewards and analytics programs of Red Hat, creating a potential for your career growth over time into a program manager role.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Provide general program and project support for the Total Rewards and Analytics team

  • On behalf of the program manager or owner, assist in the preparation of team meetings, documenting minutes of meetings, updating project plans, coordinating meetings and calendars, scheduling, coordinating and tracking key priorities and deadlines, and monitoring deliverables, as well as following up on actions assigned

  • Maintain the Total Rewards and Analytics internal web space, including project status updates

  • Manage the creation and socialization of the company holiday and shutdown calendars; support ongoing holiday and calendar requests

  • Assist the program manager with the organization of the annual Wellness Fair and maintain relationships with our vendors

  • Assist the program manager with various Recognition program events including organization of annual company Recognition Grams Event, Chairman’s Awards, and President’s Club data gathering

Required skills

  • Program or project management and coordination skills

  • Experience working in a support role focused on team facilitation

  • Experience working in HR

  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment while meeting deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to take initiative and anticipate the needs of multiple team members

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent time management and teamwork skills

  • Experience working with recognition programs is a plus

  • Web design (Mojo) and spreadsheet skills a plus
