Job summary

The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for a Program Marketing Manager to join us in Raleigh, MA. In this role, you will own and lead the strategic go-to-market initiatives to create awareness and demand for Red Hat’s portfolio within the developer persona as part of the Global Demand Center team. You’ll be an integral part of the Cloud-Native Application Development program team and collaborate with other Global Demand Center (GDC) program managers, the developer program team, the vertical and account-based marketing (ABM) program teams, a corresponding set of product and portfolio subject matter experts in the business team, and other functional leaders in partner, field, and corporate marketing to guide the realization of the global go-to-market campaign.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Guide the implementation of developer-targeted demand generation programsSupport the Container Catalog marketing strategy, including integration of Red Hat’s Container Catalog into direct and partner go-to-market programs

  • Create the use case content strategy and develop assets that map to the developer persona buyer’s journey with the ultimate goal of achieving lead conversion for developer persona(s)

  • Coordinate and communicate with the Developers.redhat.com team and Regional Demand Center (RDC) leaders and advise on go-to-market tactics

  • Advise and coordinate with the Digital Demand team on content recommendations for Redhat.com and ensure that digital demand generation kits are up to date

  • Coordinate with the Developers.redhat.com and the OpenShift.com team on content across the additional digital properties

  • Consult with the Market Development team to assess and optimize nurture, drip, and market development for developer programs

  • Investigate and actively assist in the problem-solving of potential issues and challenges to help the global teams meet their business goals and targets via the developer persona

  • Collaborate closely with the Corporate Events team on planning for relevant industry events and management of the marketing, communication, and promotional goals to achieve desired outcomes specific to the developer persona(s)

  • Build, maintain, optimize and distribute Red Hat event kits, including use case-related workshops, webinars, and industry events for the developer persona(s)

  • Take initiatives to explore and share findings on new opportunities in content marketing, social media, search engine marketing (SEM) tactics, and emerging marketing best practices for developer persona(s)

  • Refine the developer persona drip and nurture program within the global demand generation programs

Required skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field

  • 4+ years of software industry experience with a broad portfolio of technology areas

  • Passionate about developer experience and making existing and prospective customers feel celebrated

  • Creative problem-solver and resourceful in meeting marketing program goals for the unique developer community

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work as part of a dynamic team while demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and a desire to make things happen

  • Excellent communication and writing skills

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with global, partner marketing, field marketing, corporate marketing, and sales enablement teams and associates

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • Willingness to travel as needed
