RedHat Senior Compensation Analyst in Raleigh, North Carolina

The People (HR) team is looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will support our total rewards strategy development, executive compensation, and equity programs. You will apply your compensation experience, stakeholder feedback, industry research, and data to create insights and innovative program recommendations. As a Senior Compensation Analyst, you will collaborate with a fun and customer-focused team to architect and implement a connected total rewards strategy, go-to-market frameworks, and roadmaps that have a direct impact on Red Hat’s ability to attract and retain top talent in the industry. You’ll need to be curious, creative, and passionate about using data to build innovative and connected solutions across the total rewards space.
Primary job responsibilities
Collect and analyze multiple datasets, research, and benchmarking to create insights and develop program recommendations including enablement frameworks and tools
Collaborate with subject matter experts and customers to understand various total rewards program goals and incorporate feedback
Apply knowledge of compensation and the talent life cycle to deliver reporting and persuasive executive-level presentations and materials to inspire business decisions
Conduct research, benchmarking, and market analysis, understanding the talent market and available data regarding Red Hat's current and desired total rewards position
Support long-term strategy development, facilitating connections into the associate experience and evolving our programs to support 20K associates; build actionable roadmaps that outline steps we'll need to take (and when)
Partner with data scientists to provide quantitative modeling support for total rewards strategy design including short and long-term incentives, overall pay mix recommendations, and other total rewards solutions
Engage with executives, managers, and HR consultants in developing and delivering program information, education, communication, and enablement strategies that align stakeholders to the rewards program philosophy and enable holistic talent and compensation planning
Build and scale the delivery of individualized executive compensation and equity materials to support communications and promote understanding among participants on the value of the offered program, alignment with corporate strategy, and what they can do to promote Red Hat’s success and increase their performance earnings
Evaluate the impact of program design and changes on employee value proposition, motivation and retention, alignment with Company strategy, financial cost, and program metrics
Work with cross-functional teams in the legal, finance, compensation, and analytics areas to understand connections and touchpoints
Provide compensation support for the organization as needed, including special projects, broad-based compensation, retention correlation, etc.
5+ years of solid experience supporting and developing global compensation programs; executive compensation, consulting, and analytics experience is a plus
Excellent analytical and presentation capabilities to support both program management and participant engagement
Solid written and verbal communication skills; ability to succinctly summarize insights and quantitatively assess business and financial impact
Ability to work both collaboratively and on your own in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
