The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join us in Seoul, South Korea. In this role, you will ensure adherence to Red Hat brand standards, support roll-out of global campaigns, coordinate various communication activities to create awareness, and conduct industry research on event marketing and social media best practices. As part of this role, you will work closely with the cross-functional marketing teams in the region and corporate marketing, sales teams, and local marketing and PR agencies. You'll need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver exceptional work on brand, on time, and on budget.
Primary job responsibilities
Work with key internal stakeholders to understand the business and marketing initiatives to align the country’s communication objectives
Partner with the marketing and brand teams to develop and carry out cross-channel, strategic marketing plans and programs including PR, events, social, web, email, and other channels
Work with marketing teams, PR agencies, customers, and internal stakeholders to help develop customer reference stories and communication assets
Conduct promotions beyond email marketing to enhance audience registration, including website, social media, third-party promotions, etc.
Identify, promote, and distribute content to attract leads and establish effective conversion paths
Collaborate with teams and manage multiple, simultaneous projects in a timely manner with additional duties to be assigned as required
5+ years of experience in corporate marketing, project management, and account management
Knowledge of key elements of marketing campaigns, including paid media (PPC, display, social paid, CPM, etc.), conversion rate optimization, search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, and digital analytics
Familiarity with marketing tactics, creative processes, and digital marketing
Exceptional communication, organizational, and writing skills both in Korean and English
Motivated problem solver with the ability to manage projects on your own
Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks at once, and be flexible in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Experience working with agencies, media, and customers for communication assets and customer reference stories is a plus
