The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an experienced enterprise sales professional to join us as a Sales Account Manager for the Samsung Group in Seoul, South Korea. In this role, you will handle relationships with some of the subsidiaries within Samsung Group, helping our customers and partners make business and IT transformations through our services and solutions. You’ll be responsible for building new commercial relationships and expand and improve the business we do with existing customers. As a Sales Account Manager, you will also gain an understanding of customer processes, needs, and pains, articulating the value of Red Hat’s solutions and how they address customer needs. The most important characteristic of our Samsung Sales team is teamwork, so you’ll need to be able to work well within a team as well as understand people’s challenges.
Primary job responsibilities
Sell Red Hat’s solutions and services within your assigned territory
Create strategic and tactical plans for new business development and guide the extended sales team to maximize revenue and growth; meet performance and sales goals
Call prospective customers, providing technical and administrative information, demonstrations, and price quotes for our offerings
Forecast and close sales in line with company goals
Understand customer business and technology needs and communicate them to executives
Meet assigned sales quotas by acquiring new customer accounts and renewing and growing existing relationships
3+ years of experience selling complex solutions to large organizations and multiple decision makers with a demonstrated record of success, preferably in the software or IT industry
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, or other technical discipline
Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) tools like Salesforce.com (SFDC)
Solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and services; experience with cloud, virtualization, middleware, and emerging technologies is a plus
Solid understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
Ability to work as part of a dynamic team while demonstrating flexibility and initiative
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean
