Directly impact the achievement of our exponential business growth by teaming up with other marketing team members and senior sales leadership in South Korea. The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for a Senior Manager to join us in South Korea. In this role, you will report to the Director of Marketing for Asian Growth and Emerging Markets (GEMs). You'll lead and manage South Korea marketing team, working closely with internal stakeholders. You’ll also be responsible for developing South Korean in-country marketing plans in collaboration with other functional teams and the Asia Pacific (APAC) Marketing team. As a Senior Manager, you will lead integrated marketing programs and campaigns, some of which will be centrally provided, targeting and nurturing existing and prospective direct customers and our channel and alliances business partners. Through these programs and campaigns, you will lead brand awareness and demand generation activities in South Korea, including customer and partner events, trade shows, digital promotions, advertisements, and PR in cooperation with APAC and GEMs marketing teams.
Primary job responsibilities
Manage campaign and supporting budgets, including measuring the ROI to ensure the best use of the Marketing team's budget
Manage target-based lead generation through closed-looped marketing campaigns and tactics, including upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Oversee the development and implementation of pipeline acceleration programs while working with the Sales team
Lead the in-market implementation of direct and indirect programs and campaigns launched through corporate marketing and other teams
Oversee regular management reporting of results and insights based on programs and campaigns while working with the Sales team, the country manager, and APAC management
Engage with the Sales team to communicate and optimize the impact of regional marketing activities on direct and indirect sales activities to maximize the marketing contribution and impact to the business in South Korea
Oversee all elements of marketing, including campaign planning, development, and implementation, specifically on digital marketing, event management, and partner marketing
12+ years of experiences in a variety of marketing areas within the IT sector; both direct and channel marketing experience is a plus
Extensive familiarity with market data analysis and marketing measurement tools
Good knowledge of tools and processes related to go-to-market campaigns
Excellent communications and presentation skills in English
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a relevant field is a plus
