Red Hat is looking for a practical and enthusiastic senior manager to join us as a Director for the Account Based Marketing (ABM) team in Singapore. In this role, you will foster deeper partnerships with strategic account customers that leads to a preference for Red Hat infrastructure, cloud, and middleware solutions. You'll also be responsible for planning and implementing targeted marketing activities at the industry and customer account level, providing insights for decision-maker engagement while maximizing the efficiency of the sales and marketing process for specific accounts.
Primary job responsibilities
Lead the ABM team in Asia Pacific (APAC), including managing and leading a team of motivated marketers, managing the ABM program objectives, goals, and KPIs, aligning with sales and regional marketing teams, building scalability in our operational model and contributing to overall Red Hat success in key strategic accounts
Develop and maintain comprehensive account profiles, target personas and oversee a database of named contacts to align marketing and sales in defining the target audience required to achieve account goals
Develop a marketing implementation framework with ABM account, contact, and persona segmentation with APAC regional and country teams to ensure alignment of tactics and activities
Use a process-driven approach to partner with Enterprise Sales teams to identify gaps in marketing programs and align them with strategic accounts sales goals; analyze ABM team’s regional results, lead follow-up and alignment to sales pipeline goals
Collaborate with the global ABM program team, to implement ABM best practices, and lead Quarterly Business Review (QBR) results
Manage set of ABM accounts by deploying ready-to-execute marketing tactics and provide sales enablement on an account and industry basis utilizing various channels including digital, events and social media
Analyze metrics and reports to determine effectiveness of program activities and integrated innovative cloud content
Identify opportunities to improve regional marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes
Communicate ABM successful program results to regional APAC sales and marketing leadership
Deep experience with building teams in APAC countries and implementing ABM program; experience with financial services or telecommunications industry marketing is a plus
Clear understanding of cloud and emerging technologies with the capability to skillfully integrate into programs that deliver on sales and product objectives
Solid writing and presentation skills to translate detailed content into impactful go-to-market materials including web, email, and social content
Successful direct and digital marketing campaign and social media planning and implementation experience
Demonstrated ability to achieve practical results working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams
Achievement-oriented, collaborative, customer-focused, detailed, persistent, active listener, resourceful
Solid project management, planning, and organizational skills with attention to detail the ability to take the initiative and deliver projects unsupervised
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred
10+ years of named or account-based marketing experience in high tech, financial services industry, telecommunications, or government is a plus
