Job summary

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Manager to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will manage sales activities for our public and government accounts. You'll promote sales, ensure customer satisfaction, manage booking numbers, develop and maintain relationships within these accounts, and sell Red Hat's solutions and professional services. You'll need to have excellent communication skills because you and your manager will regularly call customer executives within your assigned accounts. As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will also need to create call scenarios, define common executive’s problems, and demonstrate how Red Hat’s solutions can fix them.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Create and implement account plans to ensure that short and long-term revenue goals are met

  • Develop and close sustainable bookings across technologies

  • Accurately forecast sales and close sales in accordance with the company goals

  • Understand customer business problems and demonstrate how to solve them using Red Hat's solutions and offerings

  • Find new opportunities within your assigned accounts

  • Work closely with your extended Red Hat team and external partners to identify key projects, programs, and offices through which to sell Red Hat's solutions

Required skills

  • 5+ years of field sales experience with a demonstrated record of success

  • 2+ years of experience selling enterprise software and solutions

  • Record of working closely with customers in a rapidly-evolving technology field and a record of creating solutions that satisfy customer business expectations

  • Experience in consultative customer engagement within a major enterprise software company or in the sales division of an enterprise software reseller

  • Ability to maintain a solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and services

  • Ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communication skills; ability to clearly explain detailed technological strategies to a wide range of decision makers, including technical, business, and C-level audiences

  • Knowledge of middleware or cloud infrastructure software solutions is a plus
