The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Enterprise Inside Sales Representative to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will team up with experienced field sales account managers and be assigned a shared territory. You’ll uncover, nurture, progress, and close new sales opportunities for our entire solutions portfolio. As an Enterprise Inside Sales Representative, you'll work closely with our Field Sales team to grow the business and spread our open source message to people, teams, and subsidiaries in our named accounts.
Primary job responsibilities
Sell Red Hat’s solutions and services directly and through channel partners to a set of named enterprise accounts
Call on prospective customers within these accounts and identify potential opportunities with partners
Create and support account plans with internal field sales account managers and relevant partners to accelerate Red Hat's multiproduct strategies
Work together with enterprise account managers to help further develop accounts and grow Red Hat’s solutions and services bookings
Manage your individual sales pipeline, including renewals and new business
Provide sales and administrative information, presentations, and quotes on appropriate customer prices for our offerings
Manage forecasts, help partners close deals, and track customer opportunities using company standard customer relationship management (CRM) tools
Field phone calls or meet with customers to better qualify opportunities
Develop and carry out opportunity close plans
Participate in internal sales or product training and certification programs to maintain a high knowledge of and proficiency in Red Hat’s offerings and industry trends
2+ years of experience carrying and meeting a sales quota
Ability to understand business challenges
Ability to work well under pressure; high attention to detail
Good organizational skills; ability to learn things quickly and adapt to changing situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build rapport within a phone call or the first meeting
Ability to translate complex ideas into simple, understandable terms
Experience selling highly technical solutions
Knowledge of the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing
Experience successfully managing a sales pipeline and forecast
