The Red Hat Global Professional Services team is looking for a Manager to guide our Consulting Services business in the ASEAN in Singapore. In this role, you'll contribute to our strategic business encompassing technical consulting and project management services. You'll help us evolve and grow our Services team to engage more broadly across IT environments and offer more strategic services in conjunction with our technology offerings. You’ll promote sales alignment and integration, as well as the Services business model, offerings, go-to-market strategies and operations. You'll also provide leadership and organization management. As a Manager, you'll work closely with the Red Hat Sales team in ASEAN to promote sales and business development for Services across the region with focus on Singapore. You’ll provide leadership in preparing or reviewing project proposals, including business and technical requirements, deliverable schedules, and delivery times, and in closing of the business. You'll also advocate value selling and solutions selling approaches, leading by example.
Primary job responsibilities
Manage the financial performance of the business, including tracking and reporting in regards to bookings, margin, revenue, and sales forecasting from both partner and contractor relationships and internal delivery channels
Mentor and manage the Global Professional Services team in Singapore
Oversee and implement systems, policies, and processes in Singapore to ensure standardization, optimization, and legal and fiduciary compliance
Manage the deployment of new consulting engagements
Work closely with managers to ensure that billable projects, proofs of concepts, and presales are appropriately resourced
Plan, lead, and promote marketing initiatives with the local marketing teams
Work with the Singapore country and sales account managers to grow the services business in the enterprise, large, and complex accounts in Singapore
Oversee services sales and be responsible for the overall quality of the services business
Represent the Singapore business and collaborate with ASEAN and Asia Pacific (APAC)-wide regional and global teams
Adopt and implement global strategies and offerings
Implement and guide the Singapore Services partner strategy
Evolve, mature, and scale the business to meet our 3-5 years Red Hat and ASEAN strategies
10+ years of experience in the professional services industry in IT
3+ years of experience working with people and organizational management and leadership, as well as in the region
Record of leading and growing a successful consulting business
Proven project management, customer, and consultative skills
Technical background as an IT professional to relate and earn credibility with the Consulting team
Business development and go-to-market experience
Sales leadership and services management experience
Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a fast-moving business environment
Excellent communication and persuasion skills
Ability to collaborate and coordinate
Expertise in middleware or infrastructure platforms is a big plus
