Red Hat SEA Compliance Specialist in Sunnyvale, California

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a SEA Compliance Specialist to join us in Sunnyvale, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for the realization of the Subscription Education and Awareness Program (SEAP) initiatives and sales performance within North America (NA). You’ll work directly with sales teams and end customers in the Western United States to build awareness and enforce the Red Hat subscription model.
Primary job responsibilities
Guide the collection of revenue through the education and enforcement of Red Hat's subscription model
Mentor regional sales teams on the Red Hat subscription model and requirements
Provide continuous education to regional sales teams
Ensure that appropriate behavior is understood and followed by Red Hat’s employees and end customers
Work directly with non-compliant customers when appropriate to resolve contract discrepancies
Track, measure, and enforce compliance-related opportunities, including timelines for resolution and escalation; provide metrics to Global SEA team
Identify, report, and correct methods of subscription abuse identified within the target region
Document and distribute compliance best practices for regional sales teams
Accurately forecast bookings related to compliance
Create and distribute regionally-specific marketing and messaging for the program
Identify regional external compliance standards that are applicable to Red Hat’s value proposition
Educate regional sales teams on external compliance standards
High level of initiative, motivation, and intelligence
Good judgment in potentially sensitive or difficult situations

Solid written and verbal communication skills
Good commercial skills in managing programs and projects, developing proposals, and data analytics
Sales and marketing skills
Ability to effectively negotiate with internal and external parties
Ability to use and track revenue generation using Salesforce.com (SFDC)
Be able to effectively communicate and document problems and resolution paths to customers in a clear and articulate manner
