The Red Hat Japan Field Marketing team is looking for a Senior Program Marketing Manager to join us in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, you will use your industry knowledge and expertise to foster deep partnerships with strategic account customers that lead to a preference for Red Hat’s infrastructure, cloud, and middleware solutions. You'll be responsible for planning and carrying out targeted marketing activities at the industry and customer account levels, providing insights for decision-maker engagement while maximizing the efficiency of the sales and marketing process. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Red Hat Marketing Director for Japan.
Primary job responsibilities
Apply your industry and marketing expertise to develop and maintain comprehensive account profiles and target personas; oversee a database of named contacts to align marketing and sales in defining the target audience required to achieve account goals
Work with the Telco Sales team to identify gaps in key personas and contact information within strategic accounts
Develop data and insight strategy to add key personas and contacts within these accounts
Collaborate with the Asia Pacific (APAC) and global account-based marketing (ABM) program team to create and gain consensus for cross-portfolio go-to-market plans and marketing plays in alignment with strategic solutions portfolios and sales directives
Build, manage, and promote account-level ABM plans, including thought leadership content and relevant marketing assets and initiatives that align with the customer journey and sales buying stages; support the account go-to-market plan
Deploy ready-to-implement marketing initiatives and provide sales enablement on an account and industry basis, using various mediums including digital, events, and social media
Analyze metrics and reports to determine effectiveness of program activities and account-based marketing goals
Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes
10+ years of B2B demand generation, 5+ years of experience working in the telecommunications industry and field marketing experience with proven ABM-specific knowledge and skills
Experience working closely with leadership team and sales executives to develop marketing processes, strategies, and content requirements
Experience working in the IT industry with clear understanding of emerging technologies
Demonstrated ability to achieve practical results working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and technical teams
Excellent and effective communication skills with the ability to build key relationships for both internal and external audiences
Analytical mindset with the ability to track and report on campaign performance metrics
Knowledge of and experience with sales and marketing automation tools like Salesforce.com (SFDC), Eloqua, and Qlik Sense
