Red Hat Strategic Accounts Manager - NTT in Tokyo, Japan

Job Summary:

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join us in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, you will be responsible for companies of the NTT Group. You'll promote sales, ensure customer satisfaction, and manage booking numbers. As a Sales Account Manager, you will develop and maintain relationships within these accounts and work to sell Red Hat's solutions, including professional services. You'll need to have excellent communication skills, as you will regularly call customer executives within your assigned accounts with your manager. You'll also need to understand executives' challenges to make call scenarios, define problems, and demonstrate how Red Hat's offerings and solutions can solve them.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement account plans to ensure that short and long-term revenue goals are met

  • Develop and close sustainable booking across technologies

  • Accurately forecast and close sales in accordance with company goals

  • Understand customer business challenges and demonstrate how to address them using Red Hat's solutions and services

  • Find new opportunities within your assigned territory in the NTT Group

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, marketing, or a technical discipline

  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the software or IT industry for a telecommunications or cellular carrier; demonstrated record of success

  • Experience of winning solution business (multiples products, services or mixed of both )

  • Experience of business for NTT Groups is preferred

  • Deep understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing

  • Excellent communication skills; language skills in English are a plus

  • Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team while demonstrating flexibility and initiative

  • Familiarity with middleware and Linux-related solutions sales cycles is a plus
