Red Hat Senior Consultant - Middleware in Singapore
The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Consultant to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will lead onsite-delivery and implement Red Hat technology that brings long-term freedom, flexibility, choice, and exceptional performance to our customers. You’ll gain an understanding of customer infrastructures and business needs and make recommendations fitting for each of our customer's unique situations.As a Consultant, you will need strong technical and communication skills, along with familiarity with various middleware and cloud-native technologies, such as ActiveMQ, Kafka, JBoss EAP, 3scale API Gateway, Service Mesh, or similar product solutions. Additionally, you should have experience in leveraging these technologies to effectively solve business challenges.
What you will do
Serve as a subject matter expert to conduct a design workshop
Serve as a subject matter expert to work in collaboration with the SA (Presales) and account manager to identify customer requirements, use case, pain points to conclude the customer requirements to final scope of work to propose to the customer.
Serve as a subject matter expert to work in collaboration with the SA (Presales) and account manager to identify customer requirements, use cases, pain points and design appropriate architecture solutions to the customer together with the Solution Architect (presales) team.
Onsite or Remote Implement/deployment Red Hat Products Solution/Technology
Work on diverse problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of many different factors
Apply your experience and understanding of industry practices and Red Hat's policies and procedures
Show good judgment in selecting methods and techniques to get the right solutions
Manage and engage with senior-level stakeholders at the C-level and one level below
Get involved early in the sales cycle to explore, review, and shape deal opportunities
What you will bring
Proven ability to design, architect, and implement/configure application platforms, with a focus on middleware and cloud-native technologies.
5+ years of experience in designing and configuring middleware solutions, including technologies such as ActiveMQ, Kafka, JBoss EAP, API Gateway, CI/CD pipelines, and Service Mesh. Hands-on experience with Red Hat products and solutions is a strong advantage.
Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management solutions, such as Keycloak, FreeIPA along with experience in infrastructure-related areas like networking, security, and databases.
5+ years of experience in the design, implementation, and configuration of container platforms. Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift is highly desirable.
Experience in Java development is a significant advantage.
Ability to understand complex technical challenges associated with cloud technologies and effectively demonstrate how cloud functionality can address specific business challenges.
Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia (ASEAN).
