Deliver a standard solution implementation by creating a high-level design of an overall solution for a customer environment in a standard project.

*Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.

What you will do

  • Act as solution lead by defining goals and tasks for delivery teams in a project.

  • Create Proof of Concepts and other activities to validate proposed design to manage customer expectations.

  • Make strategic business recommendations and influence project direction toward business goals.

  • Clearly articulate customer benefits of Red Hat technologies, services, and products.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to technical Red Hat and customer resources.

  • Communicate with project management team on project progress and status and handle escalations, support cases, and risk management.

  • Contribute to and oversee others’ contribution to consulting engagement documentation.

The salary range for this position is $127,890 - $211,180/year. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related role.

  • Must have five (5) years of experience with: public and private cloud architecture, including cloud-ready application design and deployment; leading and executing discovery and design workshops that will help shape customer programs and adoption of key technologies; designing, creating, and delivering presentation materials that will enable the selling, servicing, and supporting emerging software technology solutions; the open-source community or emerging technologies by producing whitepapers or webinars and speaking at industry-leading conferences; Kubernetes on GKE, EKS or AKS valued; one or more virtualization and cloud technologies; devising methods and tools targeting improved service capabilities, promote repeatable customer interactions, and lower implementation risks; and agile, scrum, and working with DevOps teams.

  • Must have five (5) years of experience in a strategic advisory role to senior IT and business executives, including experience presenting to C-level executives at large firms.

  • Domestic travel required up to 10% of the time to client sites and internal conferences. Travel expenses covered by Red Hat, Inc.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
