Red Hat Project Manager - Technical in Argentina

The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Project Manager to join us in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In this role, you will manage complex projects from initiation, through delivery, to completion. You'll coordinate with cross-functional teams to complete distinct projects on time and within budget. You'll need to be organized and detail-oriented and have substantial experience managing IT and software consulting projects, relying on traditional systems and software development methodologies. As a Project Manager, you will use a variety of agile practices, along with emerging techniques from open source communities. You'll work together with small teams using the DevOps model to build, test, and iterate innovative application prototypes which deliver real business value. You'll also be involved in our enterprise agile transformation, serving as a change catalyst. For this reason, you'll need to have solid agile and scrum knowledge and feel comfortable talking to executive leadership about how we can support business goals, run workshops, and put together strategic proposals that support these initiatives. You will support everything from the scoping of projects to guiding the delivery team's implementation of these projects, ensuring success.
What you will do
Manage project scope and customer expectations
Manage project risks, actions, issues, and dependencies (RAID)
Manage project budget and timeframe
Build content for project activities like project kickoff, status, and closeout
Lead project meetings involving customer and Red Hat's consulting team members
Coordinate with territory services managers and the Resource Management Office (RMO) to manage project staffing requirements
Work with the territory services managers to ensure that financial forecast is up to date for their respective projects
Clearly articulate the benefits DevOps and agile disciplines have when used within modern delivery teams
Inspire teams to embrace DevOps and the agile practices approach as a means of transforming not only what they do, but how they do it
Innovate current thinking and develop new approaches to change how organizations and teams deliver iterative deployments of software and systems
Improve teams of developers, infrastructure engineers, and testers by embracing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology
Work on initiatives to support agile transformations across business and technical teams
Serve as an agile lead, including planning, team management, process management and improvement, team forming for building trust and collaboration, and coaching of product owners
Support accounting activities as required, including obtaining copies of receipts for finance invoicing queries from customers
Develop basic knowledge of Red Hat's technologies to guide successful project management, including Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (JBoss EAP), Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and Red Hat Satellite
Maintain professionalism while solving problems and resolving issues
What you will bring
4+ years of experience working as a scrum master with a coaching mentality in an agile environment within an organization that ships software
4+ years of experience working as a project manager with project scope development, managing expectations, and risk and issue mitigation for impediment removal; familiarity with software development
Solid experience using agile methodologies; expert at conflict resolution
Excellent cross-functional communication skills; solid written and verbal communication skills and ability to present to leadership
Practical experience using various agile development tools like Trello, Rally, Atlassian Jira, or project management tools like Microsoft Project
Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Project management or scrum certifications are a plus
