The Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Providers (CCSP) team is looking for a Business Strategy Consultant to join us in Westford, MA. In this role, you will build, deploy and manage operational processes to support Red Hat’s global cloud programs like the CCSP program, the fastest growing channel within Red Hat. You will be responsible for creating and ensuring that processes, automation, and controls are working efficiently and at scale. You will collaborate with other members of the CCSP team, as well as with the information technology (IT), customer experience and support teams, and with business analytics and products and technologies (PnT) operations. You will prepare communications reporting on the health of our back-end operations to support the CCSP and the Red Hat Cloud Access programs. In addition, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining all stock keeping units (SKUs) and CCSP price books, working with the established processes and groups within Red Hat. As a Business Strategy Consultant, you will be working with our business analytics team, reporting on the health of the CCSP business, and providing product teams with data on partner adoption of their technologies.
Primary job responsibilities
Create and maintain all CCSP SKUs and pricebooks
Work with our CCSP Offerings Manager on introductions of new solutions and on end-of-life processes for retired SKUs and products
Collaborate with product teams on their product offerings to insure consistency in SKU content and packaging
Create back-end processes for automating Red Hat Cloud Access updates
Work with IT to create efficiencies in updating cadence and quality control
Work with our data analytics team to create and communicate reports based on Red Hat’s PnT that our partners are using or selling
Create and manage the automation of the CCSP certified ecosystem catalog
Manage program backlog with key stakeholders and create efficiencies in quarterly release schedules
5-10+ years of operations experience in a technology company
5-10+ years of software industry experience, preferably within an area of infrastructure software like operating systems (preferably Linux), virtualization, cloud, or systems management
Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, or a related area
Proven experience in developing and realizing operational efficiencies, including implementing new processes
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functional areas
Record of success in a fast-paced technical environment
Ability to synthesize data and present to medium to large audiences
Ability and experience working in a persuasion-oriented and cross-functional startup-like environment with minimal supervision
Ability to be meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks at once in a highly complex environment
Critical thinking skills with a proven ability to develop creative solutions
