Job summary

The Red Hat People (HR) team is looking for a Talent Acquisition Adviser to join us in Westford, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for hiring key talent for Red Hat through strategic planning, collaboration, negotiation, and effective communication. By building and managing solid relationships with key hiring managers and stakeholders you will promote processes in areas like development of detailed and well-defined role profiles, competitive market analysis, North American (NA) market knowledge, strategy, candidate experience, final candidate selection, and closing.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Serve as an internal consultant and adviser to hiring managers from the opening of a job role to an onboarding of a candidate

  • Conduct a thorough needs analysis to deliver quality results

  • Partner closely with the recruiting team to ensure their sourcing and recruitment strategies align with the needs of the hiring managers

  • Become a subject matter expert in recruiting market developments, competitive trends, compensations, and other relevant areas; share knowledge with key stakeholders

  • Expertly manage communication and cooperation among associates and teams to support diversity awareness, teamwork, conflict resolution, and stress management

  • Work closely with the talent acquisition recruiting partners to ensure their sourcing and recruitment strategies are aligned with the needs of the hiring managers

Required skills

  • 8+ years of progressive recruiting experience in a technical field, preferably in a software development and cloud technology, working for both external agencies (vendors) and corporate organizations

  • Advanced consulting skills coupled with a demonstrated ability to successfully shape and motivate senior stakeholders

  • Outstanding project management skills, including appropriate use of applicant tracking systems and other talent acquisition tools

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and take on additional assignments as needed

  • Experience in an enterprise software company is a plus
