Job summary

The Red Hat Sales team in Switzerland is looking for an English and German speaking Named Inside Sales Account Representative to join us in Zurich, Switzerland. In this role, you will work as part of the team responsible for Swiss companies, some of which operate on a global scale. You’ll support key account managers in establishing strategic partnerships and help with managing other opportunities on your own, including selling, coordinating with different stakeholders, and working with (SFDC) to promote opportunities throughout the complete sales cycle. As a Named Inside Sales Account Representative, you’ll work with cross-cultural teams to improve business and create solutions that will serve both Red Hat and our Swiss customers.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Mid Market Account Manager and Partners on providing quotes and pricing and responding to sales inquiries

  • Work with customers to identify renewal, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities; optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction

  • Work with SFDC and manage the entire sales process

  • Keep detailed and accurate notes of all sales-related activities in our customer contact database; schedule follow-up activities as needed

  • Update and manage the pipeline and prepare revenue forecasts

  • Work with Finance, Bid Desk, Legal, and Operations teams across the region to facilitate partnerships and make sure that all necessary information is provided

Required skills

  • Good organizational and time management skills

  • Demonstrated success in a similar technology or software sales support position like outside, inside, or telesales or sales administration; record of achieving your goals

  • Understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing

  • High-quality customer service skills

  • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers by establishing trust and credibility

  • Fluent language skills in English and German

  • Ability to work well within a senior team and coordinate complex activities in a fast-paced environment

  • Motivated and committed
